Racedays (non Grand National)

Please register your attendance through the PASS system  https://www.rcapass.com/concierge/login.xhtml  submitting the names of all the individual(s) who will attend the race meeting, by 4pm the day before racing. Please ensure you submit your name as one of the attendee’s and do not submit multiple guest attendees under the same name. All guest names must be inputted, to save any issues on the day.

If you do not have access to the PASS System or need any assistance in its use, please contact the PASS Helpdesk on 01933 270333 or pass@weatherbys.co.uk. The PASS system is only applicable to all UK trained horses and the PASS card is issued to the first named owner.

Badges are not permitted to be transferred. Children under the age of 18 do not require a badge, but will still need to be pre-registered. If this takes you over your allocation, please contact Carly Sage to register them.

Bookings for all Internationally-registered Owners should be made directly with Carly Sage on 0151 522 2959 or Aintree.owners@thejockeyclub.co.uk

There is one car park for Owners & Trainers by the Equestrian Centre Arena.

To access this car park, please show this letter either on a print out or on your phone when you arrive.

Gates will open 2 hours before the first race.

Once parked, please make your way to our Owners Entrance in the Equestrian Centre, and present your PASS card to collect your badges.

Owners and Trainer's viewing areas are on the steppings of the Lord Sefton Terrace and the balcony of the Golden Miller Suite in the Earl of Derby Grandstand.

Owners and Trainers will be able to enjoy lunch in the Golden Miller Suite, situated on the 1st floor of the Earl of Derby Grandstand, close to the Parade Ring. Within this facility, you will be able to choose from a complimentary buffet, available up to the fourth race. Tables will be allocated as you arrive, and we kindly ask that you vacate your table once you have eaten so that we can accommodate everyone. Please note, tables may be shared with the Owners of another horse.

We continue to operate on a ‘cashless’ basis. However, cash may be used when placing bets on-course.

If you would like to look at alternative hospitality or a private facility for the day, we can put you in touch with our Hospitality sales team, please email Aintree.owners@thejockeyclub.co.uk

There are a limited number of car park spaces available for disabled visitors in the Owners and Trainers Car Park.

Please ensure you bring your blue badge with you and the parking stewards will guide you on the day.

If you plan to travel by taxi, you can be dropped off by the main entrance and there will be a Owners and Trainers ticket collection point there.

For those arriving by train at Aintree Station, there is an Owners and Trainers ticket collection point at the main entrance to the Racecourse.

An area on the racecourse is provided for helicopter landing.

To receive a quote, or to book your helicopter or private jet charter, call Air Charter Service at +44(0)20 8339 8588

If you are arriving by helicopter, please notify Carly Sage in advance, so that your badges are available upon landing.

Owners will have access to the Parade Ring for the race in which they have a runner, in line with capacity calculation limits. Depending on the amount of runners in a particular race, we may need to limit the number of owners and guests who can enter the parade ring for each runner.

Winning Connections will be invited into the Winners’ Enclosure for the Trophy Presentation followed by a celebratory glass of champagne in Freebooter to watch the race replay.

Placed Connections will receive a champagne voucher to redeem in the Golden Miller Owners & Trainers Suite.

For those owners fortunate to win races during the day, you will be presented with a winning memento, photograph and a DVD (TVinaCard) recording of the race itself. Our racecourse photographer is John Grossick and can be contacted on 01387 750512.

Owners who have runners at Aintree Racecourse, and are members of the Racehorse Owners Association, can watch their horse run on Racing TV with a free day pass. Please call the ROA on 01183385680 to arrange your pass.

At Aintree Racecourse we believe racing should be enjoyed by anyone and everyone. And one thing is certainly true, the more relaxed and comfortable we feel, the more likely we are to have a great time. So that’s why we’ve created one very simple piece of guidance, to come “dressed to feel your best”.

If you are interested in monitoring the Going please either refer to our website or contact Sulekha Varma, Clerk of the Course, on 07715 640525.

Owners & Jockeys Abandonment Policy

As part of The Jockey Club’s ongoing commitment to participants, should racing be abandoned in the middle of a card due to extreme weather challenges or issues with the ground, JCR will look to offer a one off, ‘good will’ payment to owners and jockeys to cover costs.
